Afternoon :hello: Headache gone but I think there's still a bit of tea tray lodged in there somewhere
BOGOF Jaffa cakes :tongue:should be banned, far too tempting.

Don't know why but I am craving a bacon sandwich, looked in the fridge and yippee we have 3 slices left
The house is now filling with that lovely smell of grilled bacon, and the cats think it's for them

Just nearly got flattened by a car turning across my path despite me having right of way coming up to a set of traffic lights on green, he(they) were coming towards me and wanting to turn right, and did, despite me doing nearly 20mph, I shouted 'dic*he*d' in my most scary Manchester accent and got a two finger salute in response
Calmed down a bit now.

I have been out in the garden in the sunshine, re-wiring my "twirly" washing line. At one point I was in a great big tangle of the old and new washing line. It seemed to keep Leo amused though, but typical male, did not offer to help.

 I may have to leave suddenly. Benjy has decided to take advantage of the back door being open, and Leo would appear not to be approving of this manouevre.

I made a camping version of a twirly washing line once, out of an old umbrella stripped of its fabric and some fishing line.

It worked, too!

You call it a twirly washing line as well then. They have a proper name, but I think of "concertina" and know that is not right. The old bits of washing line will of course, be kept, in a box, and labelled. I buy the Laundry pouch thingies which arrive in useful clear plastic boxes about 7 inches by 6 by 4.

With the warmer weather, it is probably time to start tidying the garage recycling depot.

With all the talk of Beefburghers on another thread, I will be having some for tea, but with brown basmati and wild rice, sweetcorn and pineapple, aka the healthier version.

I think the correct term is 'rotary washing line', but twirly is better.

Yes, twirly is much better.

Filming was taking place at the Resource Centre today. "We" were chosen as one of the bigger Centres to make a film promoting them, and showing how they are organised, and what can be done. I will let you know when the film is released.

Sounds disgusting!! 1/4 lb'er with chips is the only way to go (wonder how I got so big?)
Another glorious day here, bloomin cold at 5am though, means I have to lug a load of clothes back home that I wore in the morning, am thinking of succumbing and buying some armwarmers :cold:

A wonderful sunny day here, with hardly any breeze. Being at the top of a small hill, there is often a fairly strong breeze, or gusts blowing. So nice to have most of the windows and some of the doors open, without getting cold.
