I once had dinner at a friends house, and the pudding was apple crumble.
This was made using left-over crumble mix which had been frozen, and was later put on top of the apple and cooked, as is accepted practice.
If only the tub had actually contained crumble mix, instead of parmesan...
Yech!!!

Evening all!

I spent most of the day, once we'd finished the round, riddling compost. We've got about 16 bags of it now, ready to sell, if we can sell it. I had an idea, one of those I thought was a joke, but actually might work, that we could sell a bag as part of a 'package', with a bag of broken crocks for putting in the base of pots - I never seem to have anything suitable when I pot a plant up. But it could work - we come across a fair few broken plates and stuff in the recycling. And we can make plant labels as well.

I've had pizza, and shandy. More tea shortly, I think.

Evening ... and good night. Sleepies here in Somersetshire. Except I can't decide what book to read. Just finished The Great Escape. I think the film is wonderful but I wish they'd remake it without the Hollywood "touch".

I've been car-booting, and tripled the volume of my Lego technic collection with a random bag of bits.

So then I had to buy a compartmentalised box to put it all in. I'm going to sort it all out in a moment.

ooh, lego, can we all play?

I've just done my second 47 miler this week, via Barrington Court to refuel. Bloody National Trust, they gave me the teeniest sliver of cake but charged through the nose for it. The last few miles were a struggle: last time I go out with any snacks of my own! It was a tough choice as to whether food or a bath was the immediate priority when I got in. It's, well, rather humid...

Have you got a differential gear box, chassis base, and steering mechanism?
