S'not fair though, I have a forum ride coming up on Sunday that I really want to do and I need to be well just to keep up with the stragglers

In other news I will shortly be able to have a look at the 'Torchwood' thread as I am just about to watch the last 20 mins of the last episode.

Off to raid the kitchen for comfort food :hungry:

Somebody put the kettle on and make tt a cuppa, she must be thirsty after all the posting she's doing in Commuting.
Now I know why I spend more time in here, it's much safer

After watching Torchwood I am now going to stick to proper programmes from now on, will soon be catching up with the documentary that's set around here called 'Shameless' ;)

I do that, but with no sense of taste, they aren't so much fun.

I assumed I'd got the cold from Oli's school. However, looking at the three of us at work today, it seems I probably got it at work and was incubating. Honestly, when we unloaded the morning round, it sounded like a cross between a TB clinic and a smoking club. I was hoping not to be the one on the trike, and that one of the others would take pity on me, but we were all as bad as each other! So I triked.

The boss let us all go a bit early, on the grounds that once the essential jobs were done, we were pretty useless.

On the upside, I can haz an S bag for my Brompton, thanks to Ebay.

Did I say I had a Brompton?

The big spider I put out the bathroom window, the other week, that returned straight back in under the front door is now happily living in my workshop. I saw it there the other day scuttling under the band saw.

Gawd help us. If it's watched you at work, it'll even now be building a tiny eight wheeled electric spider tractor!

Just watch out for tiny scraps of metal and stuff going missing, and sounds of machines starting up when you're not there...

Leo has a very small green blob attached to the side of his face.

It is about 0.5cm in diameter. It does not hurt him when I try and pull it away from his face, but he is not impressed at all. What on earth is it? Do any pussycat people know? If it was red, I would assume it was some sort of blood-sucking insect.

I could ask on the open forum but "My pussy has a green blob" does not seem like a good title for a thread. ;)

Could it be a tick?
I found this image of one on a dog from this site about 4/5 of the way down.

If it's like that I think a good remedy would be to smear vaseline on top of the tick - stops it breathing and it dies and falls off. Less risk of leaving any teeth or nasties behind
