Your inundated with the crawlies at the moment!!

I don't mind them at all as they catch flies.

I have several very pretty ones on webs in the garden at the moment. I don't disturb them unless they build webs across my path or onto my car or a trailer I need to move.

I used to have one that would, every night, build a web from my car door to the other side of the drive, about 15' away. I felt bad that for all that effort I would destroy it driving to work in the morning.

grape juice is fine - not alcohol as can drink spirits (beer and wine reactions are varied)

Usually rash and itchiness.

Does my head in things I really like I'm allergic to now- the wine I can do without and am not bothered about but the dairy one really does annoy me as I LOVE cheese and other dairy goods but best not to push the breathing/tightening of lungs as I don't want to end up with a response so large that I have to carry an epi pen.

I wonder if it's the tannins in red wine or perhaps the congeners - in red wine, port and anything that's strongly coloured. Do you get it with white wine??
I've had spiced cider in the US - that's not alcoholic (unless you add rum) but has the spicy thing going on. That'd work with pears...

Potsy, is it all this talk about spiders that has kept you awake?

Good morning :hello:

Not so much the spiders but the 'tics in the belly button'

I was blissfully unaware of them before this, I will now add them to my phobia list along with spiders, daddy long legs and Great white sharks

Morning cuppa?

I've just straightened the frame on my Dad's Pashley trike.

The steerer was leaning over a little and someone had previously welded a brace on it holding it in the wrong place.
I cut the brace off and, with a length of pipe in the steerer and the seat tube, I braced it under my workbench and leaned on it a bit.

It is now cleaned up and ready for rewelding with a new and better bit of tube to reinforce it. Might have to cut up an old bike frame for the tube though.

Tea break time.

Even I was grossed out by that experience *shudder*

A friend of mine suffered something far worse. Tapeworms.

Just checked and so far my belly button is tic free, though there was a lot of fluff

Kettles on. Need plenty of fluids to try and clear this 'almost man-flu' up for Sunday :bicycle:

I trust you also employed a manly '"huuuh!" as you did it?

Windy today. What sort of twit leaves a bundle of loose paper out for recycling, on their front wall, weighed down with only a couple of wine bottles in a carrier bag.

12 Portland Street, I'm looking at you! I very much doubt the council would have gone to the trouble of picking it all out of your front garden!

Tea? I'll try not to do wat I did just now. Tea tastes so much better if you actually put some tea in the pot or mug.
