Good news.

The hospital say I haven't had a stroke or got a brain tumour.:wahhey:
I have had a balance problem and some other minor health issues which have been made many times worse by the stress the college put me under last academic year.
It seems many of my symptoms are due to the college far more so then my illness.
The consultant says I should get well away from the college, which I already have, and to keep on cycling!

Celebratory cup of tea I think.

Yay! indeed!

:bravo: :bravo: :bravo:

The cakes in that picture look a bit like vanilla slices. My Mum tells a story of an aunt who served her own version of vanila slices, during the war when rationed made things difficult. It was only after the war that Mum found she actually liked vanilla slices, having thought they really were two Jacobs cream crackers, around a wodge of Birds custard made up to slicing consistency...

Hmmm, sounds ... what's the word I'm looking for? "Delicious" doesn't quite seem to cover it

I think it was best relegated to the wartime-only cookbook, like Snoek.

Mind you, Woolton Pie is probably quite fasionable now, for vegetarians. And I am now astonished to have discovered the World Carrot Museum website.

Did they confirm that you have a brain?

If I find myself with too much stress, I can feel very dizzy. Too much noise can have a similar effect.

Not specifically.

I have some exercises to do to help redevelop my brain to working with my adjusted balance and I have to keep on pushing my abilities to redevelop lost skills and knowledge. I guess I will have to make something.

And/or take up skateboarding or trapezoiding. That'll challenge your balance!

I'm fairly sure if they hadn't found a brain, they would have mentioned it. You'd be something of a talking point. ;)
