[One jammie dodger hidden behind the milk jug specially]
So where was my specially hidden one then?![]()
I've seen them on ebay, they fetch around £60 so I made my own, not difficult really. That sounds like the same setup they use on 6 speed Bromptons. Back in the day, Cyclo (IIRC) sold a 6-speed conversion kit for hub gears - 2 sprockets and a rear mech. Just takes a while to get used to the shift pattern.

I'm currently in Hebden Bridge with Granville, the cycling here is scary. So many close passes on bends, solid white lines and width restrictions!
Granville is currently locker up outside Tribal's carpark while I've been munching on a pork and black pudding pie with a mince pie for pudding. There is a loud and out of tune Spanish busker here who has just been told to clear off! :-D
The busker threw his dummy out the cot and had a tantrum. Chucked his guitar across the square and shouted at everyone about being chucked out the country for just playing a bit of music.<dejectedly, Night Train rolls up his poncho, pockets his castanets, and moves on....>
Is there a phrase more full of excitement and trepidation than NT saying ...'so I made my own...'![]()

Granville is now parked up at Murt's garage while I wait for my car service.
Just did a bit of Granville fettling.
The ride earlier felt a bit unstable. I put it downt to my lack of balance, the traffic and the greasy roads.
Turns out Granville's rear hub was loose, again. Just had the wheel off and hub open to check and retighten everything. I'm sure there must be something missing inside, a lock ring maybe, as the hub loosens quite often.
I have an image though, of you sitting on the floor of the garage with your hub in bits, while the 'grownups' service your car!![]()
Potsy I have now looked behind the Mr Sheen and you can rest assured that it is not there now!
What's that when it's at home? I can see what I can do when I know what it is.Now you've mentioned it, you know you're gonna have to do an Oxbridge-style photo on Granville, just for us...
This is where I got to.I have an image of NT cycling those HB roads with a dodgy hub'tis indeed scary.![]()
