Moments later, he ate her head....

My plan to do three cafe stops in 20 miles was thwarted when the first cafe was shut. Never mind, the other two were good!

Snap!

Congratulations. It's nice, isn't it?

Right, I'm off down into Wooler for a takeaway curry....

Blimey, Arch, when did *you* get a brommie?

I've just scoffed a whole box of French Fancies. They were reduced down to 50p so I thought I'd better eat them before they went out of date.

Do they still count as 'fancy' at that price? ;)

Curry was good. We're due some holiday slides next, although things have lagged a bit after a spectacular row that just erupted among a couple of the people here for the weekend (not me!). It didn't acutally come to blows, but.... That's never happened before!

Add in a 4-way love triangle and you could be an Eastenders storyline

And yes, you're probably right, the reduced sticker over the reduced sticker is somewhat detrimental to the "fancy" image, though "scoffed a whole box of French bling" doesn't do so well in translation.

I have been offered a Brommie for £600. It's a couple of years old and only been ridden about 10 miles, so near brand new as dammit. It's from a chap at work. He's one of those people that buy's stuff on a whim, uses it once then never again.

I quite fancy buying it just to have one in the bike shed.

Ok N+1 stops here!!! You heard it here first.

Ian mate, you have a 'bent for touring/long distance stuff, you have the Roubaix for bestest (still a concept I don't really do) and you have the commuter (Allez/Sectuer?). What on earth are you going to use a Brommie for????
