mmm treacle tart - that sounds scrumptious - never had that before.

I slept through most of yesterday and today I've not really woken and started after a cold FNRttC to Brighton so glad to be home and all cozy.

What have you guys been up to this weekend?

No I've not, I know it's shocking isn't it?

I reckon it's full of dairy though isn't it? I've been falling off the wagon recently with the none dairy eating...ahh what's another slice? cough cough, lungs tightening up

It's pastry, breadcrumbs and tonnes of syrup. No dairy at all.
Bit sickly if you eat a whole one.

My* treacle tart is about four inches in diameter. Just right with a large dollop of Mackie's ice cream.

* other tarts (? ) may be available, but the local baker makes the bestest ones.

I have a long but narrower bar of Dairy Milk awaiting my attention but first, let me share this little tip. Caffeinated beverages taste so much better if you remember to boil the kettle first.

I've had the laziest bike ride in the world this morning: 6 miles, met up with the club at the coffee stop, had two coffees then cycled the 6 miles home.

I can beat that. Sausage bap and tea. Ride 4 miles. Walk about a mile. Have soup and coffee, ride 4 miles back. Two cafes, in 8 miles.
