I think ... it's time to dig out the winter duvet. Sheets and blankets no longer keeping the chill at bay.

I'm re-reading The Borrowers books and I have decided that, if I were a Borrower and could choose the manner of my death, I would be more than happy to go out by drowning in a bowl of apple pie and cream.

Wouldn't the apple pie be strong enough for you to stand on, if you were a borrower. The pie would be a sort of island in the middle of the cream.

No I did the back because the cladding was so rotten it was falling off so I thought I would that that done before it snowed and I managed to get all the rotten wood replaced and all the cladding and painting done and the UPVc trim replaced so now I am in a race against the weather to get the front finished.
