Thoughts with you...

That's what overdrafts are for.

Student loans...

[stephec]

Student loans...

In my day it was a grant, then once that was gone it was into the overdraft.

Mind you it was only about 50p a pint in the union bar.

My first pint was 1/10d (9p).....

The first time I ever found out what beer cost was when I saw a sign plastered on a fence somewhere with the name of a social club on it boasting of bitter at 23p.

That was probably around about 1976.

Blow your student loan, and then try to avoid ever repaying it

[welsh dragon]

It is a grant he is getting, but it hasnt come through yet. He decided late on to go to uni, so getting everything sorted has been a rush.

Evening all, I'm trying to dumb my kids down a bit otherwise I have all this to come..

From the Snapchat message my daughter just showed me that one of her friends sent her, a video of him turning on his bedroom light using his forehead, I think she's keeping in with the right crowd.

We are away to 2 karaoke bars tonight. The first is Mrs B's fave, then on to an Irish bar where a couple of English ex-pats we know will be. I may be able to sing the Greek songs in both .

I want to rehearse as much as possible before our 3 karaoke singing friends from Yorkshire arrive out next month as they know I'm singing in Greek this year and I don't want to look/sound any more of a fool than I already am.

Enjoy your evening in Tealandia.

P.S. I hope all is well with your boy SL.
