Afternoon all, Afternoon @SteCenturion (you forgot me in your hellos ^_^)

The council workmen have just left, we have a new loo and cistern but told to 'be gentle with it for about 4 hours'

I'm just having a cuppa and then I can get on with painting the other side of the shower room.
Evenin' @Saluki

didn't forget you, your still there in that post, tagged & with smiley wave.

Glad you called back though, I was going to say I belly chortled at one of your posts t'other day, I hadn't heard or seen the word GOPPING used for a long time, reminded me that it was one of my favourite expressions for along time

In an hours time I'll have finished work for a week, and tomorrow morning we go to pick up our new pussy cat.
Awwww, I tawt I taw a putty cat

Looking forward to the day I can get a dog, still a couple years off I reckon.

One of the 1st conversations I had with @ScotiaLass was about her GSD, as that's what I really want, but might settle for a Cocker Spaniel in the end.

We had a lovely cat callwd Robyn that disappeared, and a dribbling nutcase, high maintenance older cat called Holly, that sloped off to croak it somewhere.

Dog next, trainable & more loyal.

I had a Springer as a teen and my parents had cockers. Really lovely dogs.

We have been having short powercuts on and off all afternoon. I've given up with watching something I've taped. I've had 3 goes and losing the will to keep waiting for the virgin box thing to warm up again.

Apparently I have a PIN number for my box. I've set one (I haven't you know) so the virgin people cannot help me with it, hubster hasn't set one and there is no default one handily written down on our box info. I cannot watch Saturday nights Doctor Who without a PIN number so I guess I'll have to do the BBC iPlayer thing then.
What a faff
Default PIN Number
How do I change the PIN on my set top box?
When your service is installed your PIN will be set to a default of either0000 or 1234. But it’s a good idea to change this to another number you’ll remember, as soon as you can.

To change your PIN on a V Box, V HD Box or V+ Box:

  1. Press Home on your remote control.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Change your PIN.
  4. Enter your old PIN when asked, and then enter the new PIN twice. A screen will appear to confirm that your PIN has changed.
If you’re using a TiVo box, to change your PIN:

  1. Press Home on your TiVo remote.
  2. Select Help & Settings.
  3. Select Parental Controls and enter your current PIN.
  4. Select Change PIN.
  5. Enter your new PIN.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Well, can you think of a better time?
