Morning people. It's a quiet day here at the moment. No wind, no rain, and no leaves being blown off the trees. Bora da folks.:hello: and happy slurping :cuppa:

G'morning all. :hello:

Another beautiful day here. We had an almighty lightening storm in the early hours, during the karaoke. It was amazing singing while the sky lit up and the rain was bouncing outside. Despite the fact that was between 12.30 - 2.00am in late October the pavements were already pretty dry when we left the taverna!

1st coat of paint on the walls of the front bedroom. I hoovered and mucked it out first. I had to scrub, with a scrubbing brush, to get the fossilised cat poo off the windowsill - that was after taking down the net curtain which was as stiff as a board (it's been burned on our garden incinerator thing.) I have hoovered all the fluff and hair out of the top of the radiator and have hoovered up all the fossilised cat poo that was stuck between the water pipes around the room. I also hoovered up a dessicated mouse. We thought it was more cat poo but then noticed ears and a tail. It's had a good christian burial at Henry.
Hubster has an estate car boot full of junk and rubbish from the garden and has gone to the dump. I am having a quick cuppa while the first coat dries.
Hot showers all around tonight!

You deserve a rest:thumbsup:
That reminds me, I have some Ikea danish pastries in the freezer. They come in packs of 8 for a quid. I'd have brought more packs but wasn't sure how much room I had in the freezer. Good job I didn't buy 2 packs or we would have had to eat a whole bag of them :hungry::laugh: or a couple of boxes of fish fingers to make room for them.
I've had to defrost a couple of kilos of blackberries and make blackberry vodka as it is. It's a tough old life.

Sod the cake..
Fish fingers, 3 maybe 4 to a 'piece' (2 slice of bread to darn sarf), butter both sides and a smattering of tomato ketchup.....butter oozing out.
