No good for amateur radio then...
Morning to ya :-) and all fellow tea peeps :hello:

I have been doing well lately on 12m especially just before dark, working stateside plus on 10m has been good.
Got one of these LiFe battery for portable use, in the process of fitting powerpole connectors.
Apparently if a thunderstorm approaches your hair stands on end as a warning.. Not much use to me.

No use to me either, I've been thinking about dusting off the old ft817, need to get a new 7Ah battery though. I last used powerpole connectors when I had an ft897 and an amp.

Morning Bob :hello:

This is the battery I got HERE
I've got a 7ah ordinary lead acid sealed one which is on this desk supplying power to my ATU..
I normally use a 2.2ah sealed for hill work, I have put off the new technology batteries by the horror stories of them going on fire but everyone I know who does SOTA uses them...mind you I tend just to use handies for activations although I like to sit on a summit or hillside on a sunny day...

No puncture fairy today as Polly is staying in until hopefully tomorrow, I'll get going after work to locate and fix said puncture, hopefully I
