Working okay this end. Both sites.DVLA & specifically their new www.wastehalfanhourhere/nomoretaxdisc/havingyouon/Betanotbetter.crap website, has been driving me mad.
In the end I had to go into the good old Post Office in person this a.m in order to keep myself legal via car tax, having tried & failed several times on Tues & Wednesday night to do the online thing.
I thought I might try the site & register for the new Direct Debit option, as cash flow is not flowing.
Big mistake.
I went through the whole online form filling through the Beta site option (they role out a new "improved" version once or twice a month the blurb says, only for the site to kick me out at the enter email address stage, 4 times.
Here was the problem. Entering email address x2 is mandatory to progress through to the 'next round of it's a knockout', yet on my mobile, as soon as I changed the keyboard for the @ icon, DVLA site 'kicks out' all your previous info entered & replaces it with one single @ in the email section, all other fields are now emptied, fields that I have sat and filled, 4 times.
After the 4th attempt I noticed that you had an option to revert to the old format rather than the Beta not Better version, so I clicked on that.
"Sorry, this incredibly useless version is unavailable at this time" or something like that pops up.
Two more attempts at the Beta not better version later & I had had enough.
You might reasonably expect that this is just a teething issue for mobile web applications, wrong, rtied from the laptop & laptop says NO, wouldn't even connect to the site at all, as if it's not recognised, a NONE Site if you like
So, my vote for most frustratingly
$#!T€ site & Cretins of 2014 Award goes to the DVLA for their uncanny ability to turn Gold into $#!T

The 3 store locally is a small corner desk area in Superdrugs store Leigh.
Done it, a.m at the P.O the old fashioned way, well, old fashioned apart from using a contactless debit card & no paper tax disc.
