Good afternoon everyone :hello:
Afternoon:hello:
I hate soldering N-types
Small croc clips to RG58 coax for the 2m Yagi....an easy job..

I had just switched HF bands last night and the SWR went all over the place although I'd preset the 10m settings..
oh tomtit, I've blown the radio finals or summit...
on closer inspection, the ATU inductor had loosened and broke of one of the tapping wires so tightened the knob(no filth please) and resoldered the wire to its tapping place on coil...
Phew:thumbsup:

I always promised myself I'd knock up something for putting my cheap Chinese 2m handle on the bike but TBH 2m is deader than dead in this area...

I should have another go at the powerpole connectors but pal has offered to do them for me (60 miles away) but it's a good excuse to nip down and visit.
No out today (yet) as home alone and Wiggle parcel (new tyre, inner tubes)was arriving..
getting lazy
