Half empty...

42.5k I believe, that was as the players came out. It must be hard to get motivated for a one horse race. As I said walking out to the east end apart from a few coming out of the bars you would have struggled to realise there was a footie match on. We waited till the final whistle and as the rain had opened walked down to Dalmarnock train station and I was expecting massive queues. We got on the first train easily, obviously it would have go a
lot busier later soon afterwards.
We went to the Counting House (Wetherspoons) city centre and as its next to the Royal Exchange Square I had to get a picture of the famous Duke of Wellington's traffic cone :smile:

Morning Mr Traindriver :hello:

Hi @the_mikey thought about you yesterday and bloody Voyagers
Last time I went up to Glasgow it was a Pendolino both ways which is fine for a 4 hour journey. But yesterday it was 2x 221 sets. The one set I we were in was really tatty, which surprised me as I thought Virgin kept their sets in better condition than X/C..........wrong . The train manager said it is normally booked for voyagers, so I was lucky last time.
At least it was a Pendolino home on the 18:00

It had a golden cone for the London Olympics and the Commonwealth games..
The council has proposed to raise the plinth and do away with the cone but people power won through,,
I'm sure the statue of Donald Dewar gets the occasional cone...

I also saw that good old Wellington was backing the Yes vote into the run up to the referendum , yet another brilliant sense of humour.

The XC voyagers smell weird too.. xx(

I'd much rather ride on an old locomotive hauled rake of coaches than tolerate the uncivilised can of sardines they use these days. :surrender:
