Wouldn't be surprised if the local scallies got powerful fireworks and fired them across the valley

Blissful, it must be great living where you do Mrs D.
Fireworks are a pain, and it seems to get worse every year.
They should only be available for organised events.
Too many people get badly injured every year.

They have a display in mach every year. Theyre excellent and the whole town and people from surrounding areas all go. Its brilliant. Apart from that, there's nothing. Its great.
