still dark n damp here! me bikes nice n clean now though! and iv just had a nice bath, sat here with a coffee and a big fat bacon n egg sarnie yummy!

Not when its lashing, I've got good miles in this year, so taking it easier now on winter bike.
It stopped about 11 o'clock and brightened up so a couple of us ventured out after midday, ended up doing 45 miles in sunshine, most pleasant
It was fairly windy going out in a southerly direction, which was hard work, but coming home was easier, just the roads were wet and muddy in places.

No real hills in Leeds, a slight one from Kirkstall towards Meanwood, a short but steep one going the other way towards Bramley...

Has persisted it down in Walkden too, turning streets into the Rivers of Babylon or at least the Rivers nr Bolton

Certainly changed this afternoon allowing a ride. The forecast says heavy rain overnight, but hopefully if it has cleared by the morning it will be off on the bike again.

Did that 112 mile Flat out in Fens sportive from Peterborough a couple of years ago, and its bloody hard work riding over there. No hills to go down, you have to keep pedalling or you stop and the cross winds are hard work.
