I have a new front door, a new back door and about to have glass replaced in the new back door as it was supplied ready cracked. Heigh ho.
However I have been able to use the time to dust, muck out the music room, we've dug a bit more pathway and laid a bit more turf (cut from pathway) and lopped another branch off the slightly dangerous tree. Can't afford an arborialist to hack it down. It's not bothering us but is bothering the neighbour. Council not interested in sorting it but that's life. Happily Hubster is qualified to work at height, not normally getting bits off.

So much for a quiet day. I'll have another go tomorrow.

Sure is windy out there today. At least the rain stayed away, did 48 miles with the regular Thursday crowd, strange how there don't seem too be many volunteers to come on to the front into a raging headwind and are happy to leave me and my mate on the front
