Good morning everyone. Another day in paradise. We seem to be a bit thin on the ground at the moment. . Still, its nice and quiet for drinking my coffee

It got up to 29°C today, then a cool change came in, the temperature dropped rapidly, and it will only reach about 14°C tomorrow! Makes my head spin, trying to keep up with the vagaries of Melbourne weather . It must be its location on Port Philip Bay, but the weather is fickle at times. I'm not complaining, though, because maxima around 15 or so create ideal cycliing weather.

... and in other breaking news: it's official! The Tea thread is waaayyy ahead of the Mundane News thread in its post count (even though I posted a while back saying they were very close to each other). Good job, ladies and gents .

We had a great night last night. We started in a local bar/taverna for our dinner and expected to move on for karaoke. As we were finishing our grub the staff started to clear the tables and a DJ started to set up his equipment so I asked if they were going to have Karaoke. I was told that they were but it was Greek only, "I sing in Greek" said I and the owner put a book of songs in front of me so quickly I thought its appearance was a magic trick. I went down a storm and they even had the song I learned back home that no one else has in their systems. I sang 5 Greek songs (2 new ones learned since arriving here). Next week I will have at least 6, maybe 7 as I'm working on 2 more. Holding my own in a Greek only karaoke was such a great experience.

Glad you're enjoying the fruits of your efforts with the language @Blue .. I'm skiing in Austria soon, I don't sing so knowing how to order a beer and get on the right bus is fine..

We did have traditional Austrian entertainment in our hotel last time, while we were eating our dinner we were accompanied by the delightful sounds of 'Willie and his Zither'.

Edited to add it may be a good idea to learn how to tell him to shut up in German...

Well @victor your spring has come round very quickly with temperatures like that. Once I get back from Mallorca tomorrow all I have got to look forward to is autumn and then the depression that is winter.
