Not as much as the guy who plays the drums down there sometimes...

We walked under a motorway bridge on the way up to the hills today. With sunglasses on it was like somewhere you would expect Classic to lurk.

I am in bits here imagining a lurking Classic coming rampaging out from under a darkened underpass.
I think a few of us are going to incur his wrath.................when he wakes of course!!!!

Evening all.
We've done another box run to our new flat. We've brought some stuff of his back to sit in our spare room. Our swap partner has had difficulty finding cardboard boxes as the supermarkets wouldn't let him have any. Iceland threatened to call the police if he didn't put the box back!. We got him some from Sainsburys and told him that there are dozens up for the taking at the garden centre just 5 minutes from him. Somehow we were not surprised when he didn't go and get a boot load but were surprised when he asked why we didn't go and get him some

We have been to Wilco's for some Zoraflora, and other assorted cleaning stuff. I cannot believe the state of his windowsills. I am not sure whether to begin by using a scrubbing brush or a plough. The word 'minging' is overused but I think that it fits in this case. Don't even get me started on the smell of cat wee xx( If anyone has any tips to get rid of the smell in a hurry, I'm all ears.

We have been to see the Saab man about our car. A new Pope is not being elected, the car has not started a cigarette habit either, it seems that the number 3 injector is sticky and injecting fuel at the wrong time, hence all the white smoke and funny smell. In the meantime we still have the yellow van. We are going to take the Saab garage people a big tin of roses or quality street as they have been absolutely lovely and loaned us a car and they are loaning us a vehicle with a towbar so we can move the caravan on Saturday. Talk about going above and beyond in the customer care department. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone looking for a Saab or for Saab parts.

Just having a nice cuppa before going to empty the loft. Wish me luck. There maybe spiders so if anyone hears screaming in the next half an hour or so, it will be me.

Pet stores sell a solution that is good for cat wee. Can't recall the name but I used it many years ago and found it effective.

I have got some fabreeze which is formulated to sort out pet wee smell but the smell in this flat is eyewatering. I am sure that when we went to measure up that the smell of cat wee actually lightened my hair a whole shade.

I will pop along to Myhills in the morning. Thank you.

Pets At Home used to sell Scent Off & P!ss Off. One for indoor use the other outdoor use.

Jeyes Fluid is another means, and its cheaper than the first two.

@Saluki, from http://www.allergystore.com/get-rid-cat-urine-odor.htm comes this advice:

"Getting Rid Of Cat Urine Smell Is Easier Than You Think
How to get rid of cat urine smell is a question that has plagued cat owners for years. We know first had. Last year when our daughter, and her cat, moved back home for a while our cats decided they need to mark everything one way or another.

As much as we might love our cats, the sharp, ammonia tinged smell of their urine is not nearly as pleasant to live with. Unfortunately, it can be a nuisance to get rid of but there are some safe, natural methods you can try that have proven particularly effective.

One of simplest and easiest is a solution of two parts water to one part white vinegar. After blotting up as much of the urine as possible, saturate the spot with the water and vinegar solution and let it sit until it dries. You will need to repeat the process as many times as necessary until the odor is completely eliminated.

Baking soda also works well. Simply blot the urine, sprinkle on baking soda and let it sit overnight. Then vacuum it up the next day. You can also use this method after applying the water and vinegar mixture for thorough odor removing."
