Sorry to hear that, @MikeGHey, remember me?
Sorry to just disappear without saying goodbye, but we've suffered a couple of real tragedies in the family. In no particular order, my father in law had a major stroke, and my daughter was raped. Cycling and forums have all seemed a bit unimportant in the light of these life changing events, and I've pretty much given up on both. I'll probably come back to the forum in a few months time as life hopefully starts to find some sort of new normality. I haven't been on my bike for a couple of months, so you can see how life has changed for me.......... Both FIL & daughter are doing as well as can be expected.

+1 on that sentiment@MikeG , Hope you understand if I don't give that post a like!
That all?I'm in for a cycling-themed Saturday tomorrow:
- picking up a new front wheel from one bike store, the replacement for the one that a motorist so generously bent for me 1.5 weeks ago.
- picking up two pairs of tyres from another bike store, one pair for each bike.
- buying some tubes at a third bike store (yeah, sounds silly, I know, but the other two stores just don't stock the tubes I plan to buy).
- putting the wheel on my commuter bike and cleaning up the bike a bit, plus a few bits may need adjusting.
- cleaning the road bike I've been commuting on this week.
<--- none of this, unfortunately, even though it will be 25°C and
, just too many things to do.
Then, not so cyclicious:
- my usual breakfast at a nearby cafe.
- grocery shopping.
- picking up a parcel from the shopping centre where I do the above (this may or may not be a cycling related parcel... ah, the anticipation and mystery!).
- importing the CDs I ordered from Amazon to the iPod Classic and home PC.
