Hey, remember me?

Sorry to just disappear without saying goodbye, but we've suffered a couple of real tragedies in the family. In no particular order, my father in law had a major stroke, and my daughter was raped. Cycling and forums have all seemed a bit unimportant in the light of these life changing events, and I've pretty much given up on both. I'll probably come back to the forum in a few months time as life hopefully starts to find some sort of new normality. I haven't been on my bike for a couple of months, so you can see how life has changed for me.......... Both FIL & daughter are doing as well as can be expected.

Morning all.
Late to the party as usual.

Just had a quick coffee break and then back to the grind. Our flat is looking very sparkly and clean (not that it every gets very dirty). Just about to clean the kitchen cupboards. There is a lot more space in the flat now that 3 boot loads of boxes have gone. Spare room still stinks but I won't be living here in 24 hours so I can live with that. Also it's not my stuff making it stink, so that's ok then. Oust has been my friend in that room.

No words from me are going to be useful @MikeG , apart from as a now cycling stroke survivor I can at least empathise with that part and offer an example of hope for better days.
