I like Christmas, although I agree with your comments about rampant capitalism. I don't like the whole Christian hijack of the festival either. More of a pagan mid-winter celebration type myself.

Well, tas been blustery most of this morning with rain non stop since half three.

At least it is your summer. I hate winter and don't like Christmas so it's not something I look forward to.
