Morning. Well it is 0045 here.

Not been online, trying to sort out the new Apple Mac OS X upgrade to Yosemite. What a mess.

Finally figured it out. Switch off the wifi and if you run mcafee Anti virus, switch that off too. Macfee and OS X Yosemite don't like each other.

All done now, the new OS X is nice.

I can't get the email programme to work with my bt mail now??? Had to put the router password back in again too, but other than that, seems ok.

I never used that anyway, always went straight to my googliemail via safari so, no worries there.

I forgot to mention that we met a new Brit in the karaoke bar, a lady from Edinburgh. I think I had a conversation with her, although I'm really not sure. I said something along the lines of 'hello there, I'm from Ireland' and she said 'igh ee yee, ay ye eeyee, agh eeyee' - at least I think that's what she said. She did give me the strangest look when I replied 'aye, we're here for seven weeks' so I'm not sure that what she said meant 'how long are you here for?'

Sounds more like disbelief & trying to convince herself that what you said was correct.
