shortly departing.

Mad rush to get to Mcr in time for triple header gig, excited but fear I might miss a bit.

Will have to go sans tea (food tea, not tea - tea) & possibly indulge in a Maccie D's health meal (there is one above Victoria station outside the M.E.N) so will be handy if desperate.

I would love to sink a few beers but I am put off by the London prices in the venue & the need to get up at around 5.30 a.m

"Out, damn'd Friday legs. Out, I say!"

A combination of working from 6:30am to 5:30pm with no lunch break, then a ride home in 31°C heat, has left my legs drained of energy :heat:. It was still a nice ride home, because I just took it easy, and it's still light outside.

Blimey @victor it still only spring over there isn't it and it's pretty hot already. I was out with my mate for a ride today and he said a friend of his is over in Western Australia visiting his daughter and the temperatures are up in the 30's and they are giving out fire warnings already.

Good morning Choo Choo :hello:

Enjoy your ride out

Cheers @SteCenturion lovely ride today, nagging headwind on the way out to the cafe but it was worth it. Myself and my mate sat outside for our food and remarked that will probably be the last time we do that this year. Got back with 85 miles on the clock so also guess that will be on of the last times I manage a ride of that distance till the better weather next spring.

You mean that one on top of the bin, halfway down the steps! You'd have to be desperate. You'd have thought the council would have cleared it by now anyway.
