I only realised how long iv been away when i popped into here for a nosey. All the regular, familiar faces have gone where to?? Have they met their demise at the bottom of the biscuit tin?? Been buried under the new patio i noticed outside? Run off and got married? (No names mentioned @Arch and @Night Train ) its all very disconcerting for someone who hates change.....

Afternoon. We have a new shower room floor, a new loo and the new sink and taps are being fitted as I type. No way am I going to get out for a ride today as it's heading towards dusk now and he has another hour of work to do.

I'll make another cuppa in a min. I have snowball cakes

The first workman has arrived and declined a cuppa my kitchen is spotless so he must be a bit odd. Then a flooring man for a new floor. I'll wait until 9am then I'll away to wwww and leave Hubster to it. I bagsy the inaugural shower when I get back in though. Actually, having read the blurb on the 'new flooring' leaflet, it might be another Asda day after all.

Have you definitely bagsied the first shower without arguement then?

If you're not back quick enough he might sneak one in ahead of you.
