How did you know the nurse was male?
"Beware of a man who says bend over to you", is what you said. Not on about the nurse, but the person making the comment

To bobby, about the person that said it to him...............who was?![]()
Down to Halfords, man removed old pedals and fitted new ones so I treated them to a sudden 480ft rise home (I think the earlier glucose is still in my system as the steep bits posed no problems)...Hello all, much activity here, sadly none of the cycling kind at the moment.. Edited a speech, taken the dog for a walk in the sun, many Autumn photos taken, some product shots for an eBay listing, editing and writing that at the moment.. just paused for a cuppa...![]()
I wish I was 18 again (stone)Afternoon all.
Finally made it to the tearoom.
Had busy day with a load of new wwww stuff (building a database), 2 dogs to walk (not including walking my own bunch), a bike ride to squeeze in. I have to finish spraying up a shelf thingy for my hallway and then it can become a shoe-ery. Somewhere to store shoes, helmets, gloves, torches etc. We also have the wood and battening for shelving out our stupidly sized alcove. I even managed to pop into the Norwich Guitar Academy office and collected the macbook charger that I left there on Saturday but also forgot to take back the work Makro card. Heigh ho, you can't win 'em all.
I had forgotten how busy a bit of empire building can be. Having a blast, it's like being 22 again but with a bit of tech to make life a bit easier. Has to be said that a DB is a bit more advanced than my old roladex![]()
The nurse was a blood taking lady and no, I never had to bend over...just drink a severely hyper glucose drink (talk about a sugar rush?)....

and a good afternoon to all![]()
'Allo 'alloHi Bobby![]()
If you have too many more hyper glucose drinks Bob you'll be up there soon...or pedalling furiously until it all runs out.I wish I was 18 again (stone)![]()
I'm still 'flying' and after the Cat4 then more uphill to home, I actually stepped up into higher gears after main hill..If you have too many more hyper glucose drinks Bob you'll be up there soon...or pedalling furiously until it all runs out.![]()
We use the flashing arm bands as extra collars for the dogs, when we go out walking in the dark. We've even been known to use our bike rear lights on our dog walking ruksack for extra visibility when night walking.Off for evening walk before the light is completely gone... finding a use for my soft shell jacket with reflective bits even if it's not the intended one...
I just had the thought of strapping a spare rear light on the walking stick...hmm...in flashing mode maybe..![]()
