5. Until it's all gone again. Then I can go back to just being grumpy instead of being a bah humbug scrooge with no soul. Apparently.

Nowt wrong with Christmas, well you don't go to work at least, so there is one good thing about it.

Last week while at her Dad's house (I was forced to concede remote control powers, being a guest) MrsD was watching Gogglebox. Watching a program about people watching television programs... and there was an 'event Christmas advert' for a supermarket using a famous incident in WW1... not in between the programmes as an advert but in the TV show about people watching TV shows...my head was close to exploding with reasons to hate the whole of capitalist society but I went out in the kitchen and read an old classic car magazine and had a cup of tea instead.

Wise move.

It was busy there, Christmas seems to have infected their minds already in Stratford upon Avon, same in Swindon today. 4 weeks to go

Hospital & then doctors, then back into town to pick up what had been given by the doctor. Needless to say hospital and doctors, whilst on the same road, are in opposite directions, Town beinig about halfway between the two, but 31/2 miles from home!

No, if you're Christian, you can go to church and sing your heart out. Lovely. The rest of it is a commercial hijacking that has only got worse over the years. I used to be part of it, not any more. /RANT OFF
