There are some pretty shady things going on around where you live Mr C, I guess that's why plod go round in there video van and stop people for just walking their dog. I suppose at 3am they probably wonder what you are up to, even though you are not doing anything wrong but others probably are at that time.

Just a mis-understanding between parties over the price. Not a new member if the "Frequent Flyers" club as first thought.
Still required the police to help sort the mis-understanding out though.
Why do the police bother innocent dog walkers, whilst these sort of pricing disputes clearly need their help?

You have to admit the police do not always do themselves any favours. I appreciate it is a hard job, because in most cases they only ever deal with criminals or victims of crime. In theory a law abiding person should have minimal contact with them. But with experience they should also learn as to who the bad guys are and who is law abiding.
They can do with innocent people on their side as these people can be invaluable in helping them. If they are doing their job properly I for one have no problem with them and support them.

I managed 10 miles in +2 degrees.
It was nice to get out and I think I may have even broke my own record getting back up the cemetery hill, as I was cold by then I just wanted home to a hot shower!
