Meds review mostly, he's on about 14 different tablets. Also they like to check his fistula and have each of the 3 student types check it too, so that they know what they are looking at. Then there is the full minute's nag about diet and lifestyle and the added nag about only having 600ml of fluid a day - like he forgets that.

Student Dr.'s I don't mind. But when its the consultant that has you in, out & "seen", before you know it. It stretching it a bit.

I had to extract myself from the medical system after my MS diagnosis, they were getting possessive and wanted to get me involved in all sorts of support groups, make me attend appointments with a specialist MS Nurse, get infusions of an experimental steroid etc, etc, I ended up thinking I was really ill... my GP now accepts that she won't see me from one year to the next and that no news from me is good news for her normally. Shame really, she's lovely..

Anyway it's not thermals weather yet.

Last year when I went over to Germany it was -18 at night and -9 during the day, I even put some gloves on.

Positively TROPICAL !!

Falkland Islands, - 25 or -35/38 windchill adjusted & out shovelling snow from 1 > 5 a.m (only for all aircraft to be grounded anyway due to weather), so that's 4 hours of my life I will never get back.
