I bought some of those after seeing how quickly it inflated someone else's tyre - first time on my own with a puncture I tried it, managed to freeze the valve which knackered the inner! Bl00dy things...

Late reply..
I found CO2 handy although I must check the beading is set better, the 16 tube was just exact for my 700x40s
Mrs Mhor had me slabbing, cutting the hedge, removing a massive cotoneaster shrub which I'd trained into a hedge, bow saw and lopper job, busy Bob. Thank heavens she goes back to school tomorrow.
but she took me and the girls out for tea so two pints of Strongbow has eased the achy back..:okay:
plus she has put me in charge of organising and building another bleedin' fence..
Flippin' women...

I did mine a bit of damage when I was sixteen playing football, every now and then I'd get a twinge from it, but that seemed to go away once I started to go to the gym again.

I started running about six months ago and didn't have any problems until three months when I had a pain quite a lot of the time. It went on it's own after about two months, but if I try to run it comes back.

The doctor had a twist of it this morning and reckons it feels as it has arthritis starting.

The funniest thing was I sat down and told him it was my left knee, and he looked straight at my notes and said, "ah, you were diagnosed with arthritis in your right knee in 2002."

That was news to me as it's never given me a problem, and when he looked further my notes on it were blank. Hmm!

Sorry to hear that. Mine may just be down to plopping on some extra weight over winter, I used to play football too and my left was my standing leg so lots of twisting and supporting. I'll do the manly thing and ignore it for now and hope it goes away...
