If I get sweaty I feel like I done something.

After reading the replies yesterday I did a couple of extra miles on the way home. I am trying to keep my pedalling at a steady rate and changing gear to help me do that. I did find it a bit easier and I know that as I lose weight I will speed up.

Morning all...
Don't have plans when there's a freshly retired and wanting to 'get things done' woman (or man) in the house. They are liable to be different by the time a 'discussion' has taken place.
So..no this morning, some idiot arranged for a house viewing this afternoon and the time allotted for a ride this morning has been taken in order to do a charity shop donation/recycling centre run after yesterdays little sort out. If it carries on at this rate we'll have an empty shell of a house to sell and I'll have only the clothes I'm wearing now ...

Edit to add ..which wouldn't be so bad if only it wasn't just a dressing gown and a pair of holey slippers...

Morning peeps. Don't think there was as much of the wet stuff overnight as they said. Just back a walk with the dog and it was a bit damp and definitely a bit colder but not too bad. Sun is actually trying to come out now. My back and my right knee are feeling a bit achy though so I think I will do the sensible thing and give the cycling a rest. Been out 11 days in a row.
