See, "yi shid never cast a cloot til May's oot". (I was told by an auld worthy the May is in relation to the mayflower on the Hawthorn. Cloot meaning coat)

Brrrrr, chilly here too. First thing I do is usually look out at the cars in the drive over the road and they are frosted up, next check the local weather and it indeed confirms hovering around freezing. :cold:

Sun is appearing though so a walk with pooch as usual then maybe try and time a wee tootle before the wind picks up. Rain/sleet for mid afternoon by the looks of it.

Morning Mo

I have to admit I'm on a bit of a downer today - I was slower than I hoped yesterday, struggled at points and feel I've gone backwards from last year.

Everyone else seems to just be getting faster and I'm finding it a real struggle, with the Etape in 2 weeks time I can't see myself improving last years time, for the first time ever

Ho hum...
could you just be a touch under the weather and not know about it?
2 weeks time is a good distance away and you may well be fine by then.
