I always thought you were a bit older, Probably because of you mentioning buying a house to retire to.

48 does seem a bit early, possibly something else happened to her, hence the donations to a hospice.

The other half is a Police Officer, 30 years service and then they chuck you out on the pension... she's done the thirty and just given her notice in.

On a lighter note, I'm going to look at another house on Saturday, I told my Mum where it was that had appealed to me and she nearly feinted.. 'That's the little village I was born in and lived in until I was school age..' Then I told her the property was the converted chapel.. 'My Mum was the organist at that chapel..' she said.
