A saucy valentine card arrived in the post for my wife earlier, it's not been signed, and the handwriting isn't exactly the same as mine.

She opened it with a puzzled look on her face.

Mrs Mhor and I ended up in unsunny Largs, a quiant holiday town
I lived there in the 70s and we met there..aaaaaaaaah.
A traditional haddie and chips ..
We'll go the back road?
Aye!

Two diversions and meeting two car smashes en route, we got home....
Hopefully they were nothing serious..
both on roads I regularly cycle..
Gets a 'No no' look after I tell Mrs M..
'I cycle here regularly'

Just checking you 'escaped' form the Methadome

Good evening all (at least in 10 mins)

Hi Bobby I escaped thank you but had a lucky escape out of Glasgow.
Good win for Inverness, should have been 5 up by half time but only managed 1. Got the second after Hal time, but gave one away and had to battle to hold on.
Nice modern ground that St Mirren play at. Pleasant day out.
Stroke of luck in Glasgow, I normally get the 18:00, but just did a check and noticed the train was 17:40 with bus between Lancaster and Preston. Takes an hour longer. Good job I checked, I had 5 minutes when I got to Glasgow Central. The last train at 18:40 wouldn't have got me back tonight. It would have been tomorrow.
Anyway at Penrith station at this moment celebrating a lucky escape.

A good spot..
my youngest has got the timetables sussed when she travels through from Embra so arrives at Central instead of Queen St..
I remember Penrith station as it was where I go off to head to Keswick in my younger hell raising days....
the days of 3 pts to the £..(my first ever pint was 1/10d)
