I'm always designated driver as I won't even have one beer and get in a car to drive.

Personal opinion and will probably get shot down here.
Alcohol limit for driving should be Zero, like we have on the railway. As cyclists we all know what clowns are out there on the roads when sober, before alcohol is involved.

Your right but I'm sure I read they can't make it zero because mouthwash contains alcohol so could cause a false reading.

I had some Creme de Menthe earlier, that tasted like a dentist's mouthwash, and definitely had alcohol in it.
