I mentioned before about going to see a house which it turned out was well known and linked to my mother in her very young years...the stars seemed aligned..
I phoned the Estate Agent to confirm the viewing appointment and he told me he'd postponed all viewings pending resolution of the 'marital difficulties' of the vendors. Seems she already moved out and wants to sell it while he's still in it and refusing to let people in! Stars not aligned so going to look at a different place tomorrow.

After everything we've been through, both recently and in general terms, we are nothing if not 'oh well' about anything that doesn't quite work out for us, especially when it's not anything we can do differently that causes it. It's just 'oh well' and move on.
