The northern part of Australia is about to become the 'meat' in what the local news refers to as a 'cyclone sandwich'.

That should make the weather along the east coast interesting for a while, particularly up north.

I know having 2 cyclones up there is a bad thing, but really: couldn't the Bureau of Meteorology boffins have used a bit of imagination, and come up with some better names for these 2 cyclones?
They've been named Lam and Marcia, but could have been named after noted couples in history, e.g. Laurel & Hardy, Abbott & Costello (no doubt our PM would love that ), etc.
