Evening all.
I decided to go for a ride after all....went to Tai Chi, popped into town then left hubby to fiddle with his new charge (a Spesh Rockhopper) while I went out with the ex.
We covered 25 miles, mostly on NCR 76 and it was a cracking day for it. I got home and hubby had cooked dinner. Nice.
Report to follow!

Err... I'm not entirely certain what happened this afternoon, but I'm almost back on my feet now (following the hypoglycemic attack, one of the problems of adrenal insufficiency). That pretty much came out of the blue with no warning. I'll have to be very careful over the next few days... They tend to repeat for several days... So if anyone can tell me what I did this afternoon I would be really grateful, from lunchtime onwards. Thanks...

Annoying when you start asking others "What did I do?'
:hugs:

I suspect I am going down with something as well. A couple of morning's in a row now, my OH has thought I was snivally... and I'm in the middle of a hypoglycemic attack at the moment. never a good sign. No idea why, but so glad I baled on yesterday being a fast day... still got the shakes after a couple of hours, plenty of food and water and even a hot chocolate. don't know what is going on, but at least I am still coherent to the point of being able to type... certainly not going to try doing anything at the moment.... other than keeping the phone handy.

Hum... someone has just walked into and back out of my kitchen. didn't hear a vehicle... ahhh just heard it drive away, so probably a delivery I have been waiting for.

seem to be a touch better now - still very weak and slightly shaky but I'm going to have another hot drink and yet some more sugar into me. not sure what is going on but can still (almost) type. you don't get to see the number of errors and have just managed to get downstairs - my kitchen is being pulled apart once again - new vinyl this time. would have been so much easier 4 weeks ago when the kitchen was empty  but there we are... currently they are fighting to get the old vinyl out along with fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble drier but they have at least removed the thinhies under the cupboards so that the vinyl can go under them rather than stop at the gap!

I can always bale to date syrup which is upstairs in the back bedroom... great source of sugar and lovely taste :licks lips:

Just seen the route plan for Stage four of the Tour of Britain. The first quarter is my weekend stomping ground

Once a detailed route plan is released I will be able to pick my prime spot with Mothers day cowbell gift from son in hand.
(I know I've fed you some retorts, bring them on)

Time for some trainspotting then Mikey

Seen at least four Class 43 hst sets on the London-Bristol route, one Bristol bound 3 car class 158 set delayed after a level crossing failure, a 3 car class 150 set coupled with a class 153 car at the front destined for Avonmouth, a Freightliner class 66 hauling a lot of shipping containers, a two car class 150 set heading to Weymouth...
