Yeah kind of, that's where we cycled to today. They have a good club there, strange he is in a glasgow club.

Plenty of our guys train in fixies over the winter - I can see the benefits, not sure it's for me though.

A few of our lads do it also, but more tend to use singles. Being a cheapskate and not wanting to buy a single I would pick the equivalent gear on the winter hack and just ride that gear for the entire ride.
The guy was sound, lucky chap having a week on his own, then returning for 2 weeks at the end of next month with some club mates.
Happy days.

I'm just home from visiting the folks. Everyone nearly gone to bed? Feel quite wide awake as usual but a bit of a headache so will probably head off soon and not make it worse with too much computer.

Looks like a few nasty days then picking up from Thursday thank goodness. I feel sorry for the poor wee lambs that have been born into this weather. Must be a shock to the system popping out into this.
