Cracking little bongolow, especially at that price! May be a tad far to commute for us though...
Yep. Great place to retire but just a bit too far for most commutes.

It's a tad breezy out there and I actually treated myself to a long lie......not that I was sleeping but nice just lying there all cosy listening to the wind.

Had brekkie so off for a blowy walk with the pooch now.

Just been on Ribble's site and ordered some wheels. Unfortunately, living on a tight budget they just have to be the cheapest available but no matter, they will be better than the worn out ones that were on.

Damn Kamikaze Pigeon just bounced off the window next to me, with a hell of a thud, and why has my computer seat suddenly gone all warm?

I like Czech lager, thanks :okay:
I have seen the word for 'beer' spelled 2 different ways, as either 'μπύρα' or 'μπίρα'. However, both sound similar to our own word and are pronounced 'beer ah' with emphasis on the stressed 'e'.

The reason for the different spellings being seen is that in Greek both 'υ' and 'ι' produce an 'e' sound when spoken. Indeed, these are 2 of several alphabet characters and character combinations that produce the 'e' sound which leads to a lot of spelling mistakes - even among Greeks, I'm told.
