Afternoon all what a lazy day i've had, took the coastal path to town, went Costa, had a walk round town (ghost town this time of year) a lot of the shops shut.
Then strolled back along the coast path and i now have

I have just had a nice coffee.
Also got a nice 62 mile ride in, got the bike cleaned before dark.
Don't suppose I will be out on the road for a few days till this expected icy weather passes

I applaud you on your ride i am so jealous.
just cannot find the oomph! to go out after my accident but that's a year ago now, i know it was horrific but i thought i'd be out there by now.
Keep up the good work, trust the weather to spoil it.

A very pleasant steady 62 miles. About 25 to the cafe on my own, numbers a bit thin today, 2 mates in cafe.
Toast and jam and a cappuccino then a steady ride back till they peeled off and I rode the final 15 back on my own.
Guess I won't be out for a few day now as I am working 6 out of the next 7 days and the weather forecast looks bleak

No it's not, I didn't know the guys as it was a few years previous I believe but I knew a Royal Marine who died in a tent fire while on exercise with a couple of his mates.

Sad, but happens.

Unfortunately you get to hear of graphic accounts of people that take their lives on the railway and I know numerous lads that have been involved. Very sad business

Puts my 32 miles in the shade. Lol. Nice to get out before the frost returns again though.
