I just had to call the emergency line for my electricity provider, because I noticed when I got up this morning that a large, heavy tree branch in my front yard is sitting on 2 of the lines leading from the street to my house. Hopefully they'll come and remove the branch before the lines break. In the meantime, I think I'll shut down my PC, so catch you later, Teaites.

Tree branch is removed. It had fallen off the tree (by about 6 metres or more), and landed on the electric service line and phone line. The contractors actually arrived at about 11:20, only 1 hour after I called, parked one house up from mine, but then drove off after about 30 minutes... I couldn't believe it! I then rang the electrical emergencies line again, and said please send them back. When the contractors arrived again about 15 minutes later, they told me that the house next to mine actually had the same problem, and they thought they'd finished all they had to do!
Now I just need to get myself a suitable saw, because there's a lot of wood sitting in my front yard, now.
