My power briefly went out about 20 minutes ago, just as I was in the middle of playing Doom 1 (for the umpteenth time). The cheek of it! Interrupting my retro-gaming session.
... and again just now. I'm beginning to think that when the contractors removed the tree branch, they jiggled something loose on the cable that runs from the street to the house.

Afternoon, good folks of Tealandia. I'm am in from w*** (nice customer, lovely dog) and have had a cuppa and a bit of left over pizza. Now off for a quick ride as I need to do 8 and a bit miles for my January target.

I called in at HMV on my lunch break.

Fatal mistake (almost).

I spotted at least £120 - £150 worth of Music that i need/want/desire to have, including the Re Masters of Led Zeppelin back catalogue, a Ltd Edition of the last Bowie album (extra discs/dvd) a couple of Prince albums i knew nothing about & Joe Bonamassa's latest album (out of stock).

This was in Bury, one of very few left in the NW & i have to say i miss the whole physical going in, sifting through & selecting my own physical purchase.

I miss the whole artwork aspect of music too, the different ideas designs & sometimes materials used to cover the little shiny disc or big Vinyl album.

Home, kettle on, slippers on and considering putting my body warmer on and the central heating :cold:

I am going to make some butternut squash soup as I have found a butternut squash, a couple of bits of green pepper and an onion. I've always got stock in the freezer so a nice warming soup will be scoffed within the hour.
