Definitely not feeling in proportion at the moment, although my doc thinks weight and height is fine (not that I can do much about the height bit) Her exact words were "your weight is a little over but your height is just fine". She suggested that I drink less alcohol and consider my smoking habit. Not sure who's notes she was looking at. I don't smoke or drink. It might just be advise that she doles out to every patient who comes through the door though.

I could discipline myself but sit ups are tricky at home as the only room with enough space to do them, without braining myself on something, is the living room and the dogs like to help.
I am planning to get a little set of free weights, just the light ones (1,2 & 3 kg ones), then I can do squats with weights, upper body exercises and whatnot.
I can't do press ups as I can't bend my wrist enough to put my hands down on the floor. It's why I don't do yoga any more, a one armed Salute to the Sun is a wobble and a fall over to the Sun.
I was thinking 3 months of gym membership then it'll be warmer weather again and more riding can occur. Clocks change at the end of next month so it's only 7 weeks away :wahhey: longer evenings to play with.
I am definitely going to bed now. I stayed up to watch Memphis Belle. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Why was that bloke reciting Yeats and copping on that he wrote it? I know that they landed safely as I saw the documentary but I did give up before the end.
How can your height not be fine?

Tesco were selling off a lot of the weights and fitness stuff that they got in for new year.

I keep meaning to watch Memphis Belle, but the length of it puts me off.

Neglected to mention (some other day) that last Sunday we had the same walk to the same boozer & I enjoyed possibly the best 2 pints i have had in years.

Those pints were Old Hooky from, i believe, @the_mikey home County of Gloucestershire.

They were great.

I quite enjoy Bath Ales Golden Hare and Wild Hare (it's an occasional treat) , both made locally about a km down the Bristol to Bath railway path. Can often smell the hops when cycling by, and it doesn't smell terrible unlike the stench from bigger breweries.
