Who's a lot to blame for
The Aerophone
Flushed with success and convinced he was on the right lines, Matthews went on to build the 'Aerophone' or Radiophone, the world's first mobile phone, which he patented on the 6th of November 1909. It comprised a small polished mahogany box containing everything required for the transmission of conversation with both transmitter and receiver being completely portable: 'Consisting of a small and portable set of electrical apparatus, with a receiver similar to that of a telephone... messages could be heard distinctly and accurately at a distance of over seven miles.' [5] Matthews, along with several investors, set up 'The Grindell Matthews Wireless Telephone Company'[6] and was planning to sell the Aerophone for £18 18s. He demonstrated his Aerophone to King George V and Lloyd George.

Well things are getting back to "normal" round these parts.
Taking the dog for the usual walk, get passed by a fella with nowt on. I'd have told him to put it away, but I don't think he'd anywhere to put it.

Get further down the road, and there's loud voices(too much supped). I then see them, poor street lighting means they can't see me properly. Voices are lowered, and then one of them realises who they're walking towards. One, not a local, said he'd have me & kick the *hit out of me. Two of his mates convince him its not a good idea. "You're mad, he's ****ing mad, trust us. Don't upset him, whatever you do". Tried warning them about the fella running round naked, two lasses in the group, and he ends up getting punched by one of his mates for telling me to shut up. Not his exact words, but you get the idea. Nice to have friends like that!

More concerned over what I'd do to them if he carried on, than what he wanted to do.

Lol............how about lethargic since that's how I've been feeling. I will persevere and get out there for another wee tootle though as the guilt will set in if I don't.

Looks a reasonable morning weather wise. Hope it's the same elsewhere and everyone that wants to can manage a wee walk/jog/cycle or whatever takes your fancy.

Been watching the fog come and go all morning. Two miles visibility at present. Up from about 200 yards earlier.
