Yes, I know that's odd. They're so far north that Daylight Savings would be a nuisance, but down here in the chillier south, it's more useful. So we have the unusual situation of 2 states along the same longitude being in different time zones in Summer. :wacko:
Australia has (I think) 4 different time zones at the moment.
Sorry, forgot to mention that New South Wales (between Victoria and Queensland) has Daylight Savings right now, also.
