I never thought I could do without sky TBH, but as the cost rises, I'm feeling more and more like I'm being ripped off. If you subscribe to sky now, they are giving away a samsung galaxy4 with it. It's a pity they don't/won't reward they're long term customers. If I like fire tv, I'll def reduce my sky to the basic £21.00 a month package.
Have you ever rang Sky and told them you want to cancel?
They'll ask you why and when you tell them it's too expensive they'll offer you a discount, I don't know how much or how long, but that's their usual trick.

They have done that with my daughter as they have the full package, but when I phoned to reduce it, they never offered anyrhing.
Tell them you're going to cancel as Virgin are offering you a good deal, that's what I did.
I didn't bother listening to the offer though as it was a done deal by then, but the first thing they said was, "let me see if we can do anything on your bill as you're such a loyal customer."
