Well, managed a 29 mile ride. Rain, breeze, puddles and muddy roads.........oh, and legs that have been feeling like two lumps of lead for weeks now so struggled to enjoy it. Still, as usual, once you get back in and get warmed up and have brekkie it always feels better and you are sort of glad you made the effort.

Another quick cuppa then must get out with the pooch, although she is snoring at the moment so maybe not in any hurry to get out. She sicked up her breakfast this morning so maybe she's not feeling 100%, or it could just be she is a greedy pig and ate it too quick.

was told a dog snoring can be a sign of a heart condition + sick?..keep an eye on the pooch.
my dog has a heart murmur and snores a bit.she is 11 mind

sadly not here it won't! my husband is cooking and I think we are on a Greek dish with lots of red wine, mushrooms and cinnamon, mopped up with plenty of crusty bread! I have forgotten the name of the dish!
Sounds quite good. Meals cooked for you always test better than your own me thinks. In oor hoose though, that means your own dishes. That's why I do all the cooking.

Sadly, my husband does not taste test as he cooks, and follows recipes blindly. So if it says put 2tbsp of salt into a dish serving 4 purple, he will! xx( he won't have read that it is salt flakes the author is referring to, he'll use granules, and he won't think about the amount of salt in the stock he has put in... He also won't taste the food before serving it, just expects it to be correct! Sadly this dotes not always work out and more often than not isn't what we are expecting. He has no feel for flavours....

It is a very nice recipe, or was when I cooked it. We'll see how well he manages it tomorrow now. Plans have changed. He has announced he wants chips, eggs and sausage tonight!
